Dear Financial Partner,
It was the Lord who decided that ministry should be
supported through offerings. He first established this principle in the
Law of Moses with the Children of Israel giving to the Levitical priests
who performed the necessary sacrifices and brought their offerings
before the Lord. In response, God blessed those who gave offerings or
sacrifices.
When the New Testament Church was established, the
apostles received the freewill offerings of the people, and the apostles
believed God for the givers to be specifically blessed in return for
their giving. For example, Paul wrote to those who chose to give into a
particular offering he was taking up:
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds
will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a
generous crop.
And God will generously provide all you need. Then
you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share
with others.
. . . he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous.
–II Corinthians 9:6,8,10,11
Please notice that Paul did not promise only
“spiritual blessings” in Heaven in return for the offerings believers
sowed into his ministry. The Holy Spirit said that God would “provide
and increase your resources.” I follow Paul’s example. With every
offering, large or small, that is given into this ministry, I
continuously believe for God to multiply the seed that has been sown, to
bless the giver, and to increase their resources.
So, I want you to know that I take seriously and I appreciate every gift and financial seed that is sown into this health ministry.
I thank you for partnering with me in this great work.
God Bless you and your family,
Richard
