If a person is put in jail because he doesn't believe in the covid lies because he broke some rule, do the police or politicians really think that changes his mind? Hardly. In fact, they are more convinced.
The same thing can be
said if a person was fined or put in jail for anything that is deemed
“politically incorrect.” He or she would be more resolved. If
they get jail, they'll have more time to plan their strategy so as
not to get caught or to use force the next time!
